IU Be Well

IU Be Well

For Hoosiers to succeed, they need to Be Well

IU Be Well is Indiana University Bloomington’s campus-wide framework for advancing student health, well-being, and success through shared responsibility, collaboration, and evidence-informed action.

Our primary goal is to increase student help-seeking and create a more well-being-ready campus.

IU Be Well is a coordinated framework that connects student well-being with student success and strengthens the systems, environments, relationships, and resources that support students.

IU Be Well directly supports IUB 2030 Strategic Plan’s Goal 3: Access, Wellness, and Student Support, particularly the objective to create and implement a comprehensive student support framework addressing academic, health, well-being, and student life needs. It also advances the Office of Student Life Strategic Plan.

Well-being readiness

A well-being-ready campus provides the services, resources, experiences, and environments students need while ensuring that students, faculty, and staff are prepared and empowered to engage with those supports.

Year one priorities:

  • Develop practical support tools
  • Establish a sustainable student feedback process
  • Improve resource navigation
  • Create a centralized landing-page approach
  • Prepare recommendations for future implementation
