Community partners

For local and global community partners

Indiana University is a multifaceted organization with hundreds of engagement programs ranging in size, type, and scope. If you don’t yet have a contact at the university, IU Corps can connect you to the students, faculty, and staff who want to work alongside you in your efforts.

Community engagement is a collaborative process that enhances academic and civic learning and personal growth. As a community partner, your experience and insights will position you as a teacher and source of knowledge that IU students, staff, and faculty can learn with and from.

Are you a Community Partner with a volunteer opportunity to share?

Use this link to create your user account, set up your GivePulse group, and submit a request to affiliate. After completing this process, IU Corps will receive an email to review and approve or deny your affiliation request. Once your group is created, you can begin posting events, and if your affiliation is approved, your opportunities will also appear on the IU Corps landing page.

Do you have a project idea that could benefit your nonprofit organization? Consider submitting an application to partner with START.

It felt so good to connect with students in person, as well as with other community partners.
